Episode 5 - The Oscars Podcast

C2 and Mr K scratch their heads as they review the 2025 Oscar nominations in 6 major categories as they scream, “What’s Wrong with the Movie Industry?” We will make our bold predictions concerning who will take home the statue. Questions we will ponder include: Who has seen these movies? What the heck is up with the running time of these “best” pictures and this part 1/ part 2 crap? Why are these “best” actresses’ nominees skinny and wasting away? Where are the Gladiator 2 nominations? One segment will include stop this 10 nominees for best picture madness! and a suggestion. Along the way we will reminisce about the old days when the Oscars were exciting by telling you the nominees 30 years ago in 1995. But first let’s talk about an Oscar award winning actor who has popped into the news lately, Mr. Gene Hackman!
